It depends on how many stations/brands his 'family' owns. It could be just Florida or nationally. Haven't had time to research how many they own. She just got 'the call' this morning. You have to remember that I-95 is a very long stretch of road, even in Florida. I know; I've driven the entire distance from Maine to Miami. Tourists and visitors are used to exorbitant prices just off the interstate. Locals should know better. This station is preying on the gullible.

If you're trying to organize a boycott, it belongs in the Boycott/Gasout Talk forum. Bufr if it IS local, and the mods will agree, it will be in the local discussion forum.

No need to yell. It was posted on floridastategasprices.com and DOES affect everyone who drives I-95 and gets gas at that exit (Local residents, tourists, visitors, etc.).

LOCAL TOPIC, NOT NATIONAL

Having spoken with a former employee (and current ones too) of company-owned/name brand stations, they get called each day and are told what to charge that day. It's called 'Zonal Pricing'. It does happen.

I juat had to say it's not the gas stations or the oil companies making the gas prices raise to $5. SO it doesn't matter where you fill.
