I think GB wants any feedback on the mobile app problems to be E-mailed to them. However, this topic has now been created and I think it is beneficial for us to share what problems we are having. Of course anyone with serious suggestions for improvements should start topics in the Suggest A Website Improvement category, even if one has the irresistible urge to split the a-wireless-app-is-not-a-Website hair completely down the middle.
I have a 4s and I have been having a problem since I got v1.12.4*, namely, it acts as though the GPS isn't working right. Half the time the map and list work fine. Other times, they just sit there cranking away loading stations and never finishes. Today I got several Turn On Location Services msgs, when in fact they were indeed on and the blue** dot always shows my current location. If GB knows where I am and it knows the location of all stations from the MSL long. and latt. fields, why is GPS even needed at that point? Sometimes I can close the app and restart it and it will immediately load the nearby stations I was looking for instead of endlessly grinding away. It's very frustrating, especially since the earlier version (with the nicer, bigger station icons) worked with no problems.
The Reload button doesn't seem to do anything.
---- *Or was it v1.12.3? I had v1.10, which worked fine, and then, upon invitation, downloaded v1.12.3, but I looked later on and it had moved to v.1.12.4 without taking any further action. **Speaking of blue, why is everything a slightly different shade of blue? Why can't the Map and List buttons be plainly different colors? It's just like ATT.com's coverage map; 3G and 4G areas are slightly different shades of blue. Have the aliens from Blueia landed and taken over the minds of all humans working on anything to do with wireless? Good grief!

It'd be nice if we could access the Forums, read News Articles, etc... Perhaps that's too much for an APP???

I just downloaded the app the other day to my AT&T iPhone 4. Works like a charm.

i really love this app although sometimes I hate it when you have to plug in a zip code...I drive a lot and out of town so this app is both good and bad at times.

I don't think it's either app. I think it has to do the GB's database from with the apps draw their information. Every day I sit between a BP and Kangaroo. The map will always show both stations but the list won't show the Kangaroo. The list will show the BP and all of the other surrounding stations with proper distances. The other day I was a few miles from the Kangaroo and the list actually showed the Kangaroo in it's correct distance from my location. Other lesser brands also do not show up in the list view; forcing me to the map view (which has it's own problems).

I have the same phone with the same operating system and I do NOT have any of the problems you describe
As for posting with accurate time (i.e., posting after you finish driving, not while you drive), you can do that on your phone. Simply open the Safari browser that comes with the phone, open up: m.gasbuddy.com/index and you'll open a Gas Buddy page that (at the top of the page) reads: Available on the App Store Gas Buddy, and below that two options: Report Gas Prices and Search Gas Prices. Simply click on the link Report Gas Prices Near Me or on the link My Favorite Stations.
Caveat- If you click on Report Gas Stations, it will of course show the gas stations near you. If you click on My Favorite Stations, and you have more than one favorite listing (for example, I post prices regularly for Maryland, and DC, (the DC Metro area), and for northern Florida (where I am frequently and have favorites for both areas), it will combine the favorites into one list.
In either case, you can click on the station to update prices, and at the bottom of the page, under the blocks in which you enter the prices, you can change the time.
It literally takes a minute or two at most, and if you keep pages open in your browser (you can unpin - or whatever the word is the Safari app when you shut your phone off, just don't close your browser page - I know what I mean, not sure if I'm saying what I mean correctly, but I can do it correctly), it takes literally seconds the next time you want to post prices time correctly.
If this is confusing, message me and we can talk off-line. Bottom line is what you're asking for is already possible, and easy to do.
